exporting from catia v5 to nx 7.5

(OP)
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to export catia v5 models to NX 7.5. I believe this should be very simple. If someone can give me a simple step by step solution it would be greatly appreciated

RE: exporting from catia v5 to nx 7.5

Your best bet would be to export from Catia as a step or iges file and then import that file type in NX.

I know there are a variety of different Catia to NX translators that can bring different amounts of information over to NX but they vary in cost and some are very expensive.

RE: exporting from catia v5 to nx 7.5

Check whether you have Catia translator license in NX , if available you can directly open the Cat product or Cat part [Drawings won't open even with license]

If not use STEP conversion in Catia and then open in NX.
