How to Size an Oil Interecptor

How to Size an Oil Interecptor

(OP)
Not sure if this is the correct forum however hoping for some help.....

I am trying to find calculations to size an oil interceptor for fuel storage depot however do not know what the calculation or design standard to follow is... I would presume it is based on rainfall and the surface area that would run to the interceptor however cannot find the information anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

RE: How to Size an Oil Interecptor

API 421 Design and Operation of Oil-Water Separators might help. Also possibly 40 CFR 60 Subpart QQQ Separator Covers VOC Rule, 40 CFR 63 Subpart G Separator Covers HAP Rule and 40 CFR 63 Subpart VV Separator Cover Emission Standards.
