Update during opening casues huge delays.
(OP)
Hi All
We are creating some very large CAD models at present and these are slowing us down to an extent where it's becoming a real pain. My question is this. If someone is opens one of these large CAD models, why on earth does ti run though the whole model update before displaying, which takes ages and is there anything we can do to prevent it from happening, so the model just opens? We have tried various load options, but these make no difference.
Cheers

Tools -> Update
...either 'Delay Model Update' or one of the options under 'Interpart Update'.
