Export STEP files and JT

Export STEP files and JT

Export STEP files and JT

(OP)
Hi All

We export some rather large STEP files of entire engines, they are usually in a read only state so the actual CAD model cannot be saved. However we have notices that when we go to export the STEP file, that during the translation process, the status line indicates that it is also saving the JT data, this increases the export time significantly. Is there any way to stop the JT from being saved (I can't see anything in the Customer Defaults)? Or is it an integral part of the STEP translation process?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Si

Best regards
