I just opened an NX PTS Template Example part from the Reuse Library, and it came in which a texture, it looks like it has a cast finish and the parts that are machined are a smooth gold color. How do you do the grey texture part. Again this is in True Shading.
See attached image.

RE: True Shading showing textures

They probably assigned a 'cast' texture to the entire body and and then went back and assigned, on a face-by-face basis, a smooth colored texture to the machined faces.

I tried changing it, but I am unable to change it. That is why I have this question.

Thanks

Kapmnit, that is what I was wondering, I haven't spent a lot of time using true shade, and I found it interesting that no matter what I did, I couldn't change the shade. It is more for my knowledge in the future.
And Codigo, if I had access to Youtube I would watch that video, however, my company blocks access to youtube, but for some reason we have Facebook... Go Figure..
