foundation for temporary structure

(OP)
I have to support a load of 30 tons temporarily. I am using a pipe of 160mm outer diameter. This pipe has to be supported on the ground. The soil is loose sand. If I remove the top layer of soil and replace it with road base material to compact for a depth of atleast 2feet. Then by placing some spreader plates ( either steel or timber planks) will the pipe can be supported on the ground ?

I can not go for any sort of footing ( permanent construction). I need some guidance.

RE: foundation for temporary structure

kags, you should be aware that the bearing capacity of the subgrade is required in order to answer your question. Then it's simple statics to spread a post load onto a given area and calculate stresses.
