Instrumentation Books

(OP)
Hi there
I'm new to the site. I am a 2nd year apprentice in Instrumentation and control. I am looking for advice on which books (theory or practical) that are helpful for this?

Any ideas would be great.

Also any refining industry knowledge books?

Many thanks!

RE: Instrumentation Books

Emerson publish a number of books - some under the Fisher brand, some under the Rosemount brand. The Rosemount ones cover level measurement and temperature measurement.

Check into the ISA and become a member. They have excellent books and courses...

And check out Bela Liptik's Instrument Engineer's Handbook....or anything from Bela.

RE: Instrumentation Books

Written for technicians, several chapters on math, chemistry physics, several chapters on electronics, several thousand pages on instrumentation. It's a work in progress, updated versions a couple times a year.
