Compressed Air Pipeline Sizing Book Needed
Compressed Air Pipeline Sizing Book Needed
(OP)
Hello everybody,
I have to design two applications with compressed air in it.
One of them has an Instrument Air (90 psi) which is needed for equipment servicing, another application has a Plant Air (90 psi) for utility stations.
As of right now I have just one table that gives me suggested pipe sizes for compressed air flow at 100 psi based on length of run and air flow.
This table is excerpted from Industrial Fluid Power, Volume 1, third edition, 1984
Could you please recommend me some other books that would be helpful for designing these two applications.
Thank you in advance for your help.

RE: Compressed Air Pipeline Sizing Book Needed
It has a table titled "Flow of Air Through Schedule 40 Steel Pipe" that I have used for plant and instrument air.
Good luck,

Technically, the glass is always full - 1/2 air and 1/2 water.

But what if in my design I will use also Stainless Steel pipe Sch.10S.
Will this book be still usable for me?
