Setting up 2 MVA, 4160 Genset Protection Relay. I notice input settings for a transformer (Not CPT) and the manual makes reference to transformer differential. What transformer information should be entered... utility by chance?

RE: Multilin Generator Protection

Which relay? GE make at least three or four generator relays.

G-30 - Looks like they expect a step up/down after generation. I think I should just ignore this setting.

RE: Multilin Generator Protection

I would suggest carefully reading section 5 of the manual. It deals with GE's concept of sources. If not connected via a Transformer, perhaps consider entering the XFMR as a 1:1 voltage ratio with all windings connected wye (star)-wye (star). If unsure, you really have to test with relay test set to get a feel.
