Fire Suppression system for Pump station building

Fire Suppression system for Pump station building

Fire Suppression system for Pump station building

(OP)
Hi Folks,
I am trying to figure what fire suppression system will be required for pump station building, 500-1500 sq. m covered area without water supplies (manned/unmanned), housing 4-6 crude oil pumps. NFPA 30, ch 18 - flammable and combustible liquid handling and transfer, seems very close to apply but then it directs to use ch 6 for fire suppression system. Not sure which system is best suitable for this type of building with reference to NFPA or NFC standard?
Any thoughts?

RE: Fire Suppression system for Pump station building

What happens if the pump station is destroyed by fire? How many dollars/hour will that cost your client or company? What hazard assessment has been performed on the pumped crude oil to determine the potential consequences?
