solving yellow triangle with exclamation mark in part navigator

solving yellow triangle with exclamation mark in part navigator

(OP)
Hello all,

I am using NX 7.5.

I sometimes get yellow triangles with exclamation marks at my sketches in my part navigator. When I hover over these sketches i get the message: "Unable to reference parent objects that are eighter suppressed or modelled away. Some sketch references become out of date during the exit.

I want to solve these errors by removing the sketch references that are out of date, but I don't know how i can see which sketch references cause the problem.

I am a previous I-deas user and when this problem occurs there, then the problem references were highlighted in the sketch. I there a similar option in NX7.5 or another solution to get rid of the errors?

Hi Vagearie (vage naam trouwens)

You do not want to remove the sketch refrences as they are constraining the Sketch. Removing these constraints could change the result of your sketch.
Better would be change the references to point to geometry that is not surpressed at a later stage of your model or create different constraints within the sketch.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. My plan was to remove the constrains that cause the problem and then replace them by new ones so my sketch result stays the same. Changing the references of the constrains like you describe would be even better. My problem is I can't find out which constrains are missing a reference. They are not highlighte or something. Some sketches have many constrains and i think only some have lost their reference.
