Nickel Alloys for Electrochemistry

Nickel Alloys for Electrochemistry

Nickel Alloys for Electrochemistry

(OP)
Hi there,

I am looking into building a prototype of electrolyser and thinking of using Nickel alloy for my electrodes as it offers higher conductivity and better resistance to corrosion such as hydro and caustic compared to stainless steel.

I have this table here with a huge choice of different types and would like to know if anyone here could help me with it in order to possibly find the right balance:

Thanks in advance,

RE: Nickel Alloys for Electrochemistry

What product form do you need? Flat strip or tube?
There are a number of fairly available alloys. The three most common in my world are:
AL-6XN (high alloy stainless)
625
C276
