Import assembly error: (%1$s)

Import assembly error: (%1$s)

Import assembly error: (%1$s)

(OP)
Hello,
I'm trying to import a assembly into teamcenter with tool "Import Assembly Into Teamcenter" in NX.
Everything looks to go alright, but at the end i get the error:

___________________________________________________________________________________________
Unexpected error!
Teamcenter error: The given tag (%1$s) does not exist in the database or is not a persistent object tag.
While importing
"drawing-name"
You should check the state of the output part for problems

This error occurred while
creating Item, Revision and/or Dataset
This error is fatal, and the operation will be abandoned

Does anybody know what this error means and what i can do to solve this?
Thanks already.

RE: Import assembly error: (%1$s)

Hi,
Can you please check if the assembly is opening up correctly (in native env.)using the same load options you are using while importing the assembly inside TC?
Thanks and Best Regards

RE: Import assembly error: (%1$s)

Could there be a bad part name in the assembly you are trying to import?

RE: Import assembly error: (%1$s)

Thanks for you reply.
Yes, i can normaly open the assembly in native mode.
And Executing the import with "Dry Run" on is going ok.

RE: Import assembly error: (%1$s)

Try running a "part cleanup" on all the parts involved in the assembly that you are trying to import.

I don't think it's a problem with a part or assembly because i have the problem with 3 (small) assembly's.
But i will look at a bad name and run part cleanup.

The assembly's are made by a external company for us, so maybe some compatibility problems......?

RE: Import assembly error: (%1$s)

If there are no strange characters in the filenames etc, take a look at the part attributes in native for some of these parts. I've had issues previously with the import process reading the attributes which seemed to cause a conflict in TC.
Is "drawing-name" an attribute in one of these files?

RE: Import assembly error: (%1$s)

(OP)
No, i can't find strange characters in file-names or attributes.
And i can load all single part into Teamcenter, that's no problem, so those name's/attributes are OK.
After that i try to load the assembly into Teamcenter with the option "use existing" part. But in that way it still wants to load the new parts in stead of using the already loaded parts in Teamcenter.
