hi all,
I have a doubt regarding the chiller ventilation... i m a begineer in hvac field my doubt is tht wthr the air cooled chiller needs ( or any chiller ) proper ventilation. bcz...in my site the chiller is surrounded by glass covering and the top is grill covering does it get proper ventilation.
specification : 176 tr air cooled screw chiller ( 1 duty - 1 standby )
My another doubt is that , thy have placed a pump between 2 fahus ...when i asked thy told its for pre cooling...can any1 explain y thy did tht...?

Ventialtion needs likely are driven by what else is in the room and refirgerant leakage (also may need refrigerant alarm system) ber ASHRAE 15/34

The way you write displays a lazy attitude which does not befit someone just starting a career.I would suggest going through the chiller installation manual where all clearances are stated.
