Flow Simulation

(OP)
Hello All,

I'm back with more question(s). I just started to learn Flow Simulation. I been viewing many videos on this topic and have almost completed by first project, however. "That's Why I'm here!" I come up with a message when running the project for Results. Here it is.

It is not possible to calculate the internal task, if there are mass/volume flow openings but no pressure boundary conditions defined.

I've attached an E-Drawing as well as a screen shot to hopefully help.

Thanks in advance. I'm sure this will not be enough info

RE: Flow Simulation

I'm also just starting to learn it.
What is your question? I may not help much, but I don't read a question here.

RE: Flow Simulation

Your first problem is that you've got two exits at 1 lb/sec each, and one inlet at 1 lb/sec, so you've got another 1 lb/sec inflow coming from God. That's the sort of thing that can get SW pretty confused.

Also, I think you have to have special surfaces defined, at the inlets and outlets, as if they were membranes or something. It's been a while since I actually had SW to screw with, but I remember having problems with that.

RE: Flow Simulation

Try starting with something like a simple commodity elbow, and add branches after you get that working.
