Any assistance would be grateful in obtaining either an already manufactured amplifier or circuit and components required to amplify a dc mv signal (10 to 1000) to 3 to 10volt dc which can then be viewed on an oscilloscope to monitor step responses

RE: dc mv amplifier

Two problems with your request: 1) any decent oscilloscope should easily be able to display a 10mV dc signal to a suitable size on-screen directly and 2)if you must have an amplifier for reasons undisclosed, you need to define the bandwidth it must have to display your 'step response' accurately.

Thanks for the input will be using a DatQ DI_155 USB data acquisition module which only accepts min 2.5v I/P
