NX7525 Custom Symbol create: Single cell/section tabular note valid for text attribute list control?

(OP)
Simple UDS for Custom Symbol (Reuse) Library, consists of polygon and text string. Want to confine the physical effective length distance by using the defined and controlled column width of cell (various fonts will bleed outside polygon otherwise, and PR#2179952 et al have seen the definition control of font not stable in this version). Problem here is that it appears only simple text/note annotation objects are valid for use toward text attribute list control in the create symbol dialog. Is there a way to allow the custom symbol dialog to realize the cell's text characters for attachment via the attribute list (will apply an arbitrary attribute to control output text in the symbol instances)?
