Hi,
I want to have some advice, the best way to go.
First the requirement, we want to manage revision documentation inside nx 3d parts- in the master.
There are several way to do, fileheader, attribute or expression.
Each option has it's limitation, access from the master model drawing ... , or multi column text, ease of use.
What is the way to go? NX7.5
any tipps are welcome
thanks in advance...

RE: revision text

I really don't know if this is the best way to go or not, but we do it with attibutes, and then those attributes show up in the revision block. We only show the last two revisions, because we have the option to pull them up off of archive if needed.

thank you jerry on reply,
my problem with attributes is a multiline text,
that is part of the question, if there is any other solution,
I don' t know
regards

RE: revision text

As far as multi-line goes . . .
If you put the attribute in a table cell you can set the overflow options in each cell.
So you may want to consider making your revision box from a table.
I am on NX7.5 too, but I think what I mentioned is easier to do in NX8.5.
