NX7.5 CAM - Using tool from tool library raises WCS orientation error message

NX7.5 CAM - Using tool from tool library raises WCS orientation error message

NX7.5 CAM - Using tool from tool library raises WCS orientation error message

(OP)
I have defined a turning tool and saved to the tool library
Tool has been defined on the X-Y plane
When I call this tool into CAM the tool appears in the correct orientation and
loads onto the turret in the correct position
Adding an NC operation I get the attached error message
I have tried to redefine the tool with the insert position being topside/underside but get the same error message

Has anyone else seen this problem?
Is there a work around?

RE: NX7.5 CAM - Using tool from tool library raises WCS orientation error message

Edit the MCS and look for the Work Coordinate System group.
If it's not there, update the dialog with customize from.
If you still have trouble please contact GTAC - this was a common scenario when 7.5 was released.
