Reusable Library...

Reusable Library...

Reusable Library...

(OP)
Hi Everyone.

I was wondering if there was a way to set up/customize my reusable library. I am a mold designer and working on nx 8.5. I find my self wasting a lot of time downloading and copying commonly used parts from job to job and was wondering if nx had a way i could put in my common parts and just add then as needed in my assembles ie my reusable library.

thanks
Peter

RE: Reusable Library...

Have you downloaded the NX Machinery Reuse Library from the GTAC software download site yet? If not, I would start there.

And even if you have previously downloaded one or more of the libraries, if you go back to the GTAC site there was a file there titled 'Standard_Parts_Creation_Best_Practice_v1.1.zip'. Download and extract the files and you will find some documents and examples to help you set-up your own customized reuse library entries which will leverage the NX schemes for adding them to your assemblies in an intelligent manner.
