Dear all,
For ocean transportation, vertcial acceleration loads are 2g upward, 2g downward,
Does it mean:
(1) Net 3g down (2g + one time vessel wt) and net 1g up ( 2g - one time vessel wt) for the support saddle design ? or
(2) Net 2g down and net 2g up for the support saddle design, disregard the weight in the math ?
