Problems installing PRO/E

Problems installing PRO/E

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm having some problems installing Pro/E Datacode 2001150. I install it but when I try to open the software, a DOS window appears, close and nothing else happen...
Can anyone help me?

Thank you so much,
Rodrigo

RE: Problems installing PRO/E

There some issues with license server versions in 2001. If you have a newer consolidated license, you must be running 2001440 or newer.

RE: Problems installing PRO/E

Are you sure you are using the correct cd-rom? Not all the Datacodes are for win XP. I don't know if it works anyway but it can be a problem.

RE: Problems installing PRO/E

Check the system requirements for your software on PTC's website.  Make sure everything is installed for the version of Pro/E your want to run.

I ran into this same problem with one of our Win2000 machines here.  It turned out to be missing one of the Microsoft Service Packs listed on PTC's website.  I downloaded and installed the service pack and rebooted the machine.  When it came back up Pro/E started normally.

Good luck tracking it down, I know it can be frustrating...
