Wood Floor Framing VS Composite Steel Deck w WF Beams Cost

Wood Floor Framing VS Composite Steel Deck w WF Beams Cost

(OP)
Hello All:

Working on a 3000 sf two story building where we are lifting the entire floor about 18 inches in order for the owner to better utilize the basement. I would like to know what is your experience roughly estimating the increased cost (in percentage) without the need to bring an estimator using composite steel deck vs dim lumber framing. Im guessing about 30%. Whats your take? Thanks.

"...composite steel deck vs dim lumber framing" for what? The raised bottom floor? If so, of what is that floor currently constructed? SOG, wood...?

Sorry, I forgot to mention, occupancy both floors is office. The existing basement has a SOG to remain, and the first floor framing is 2x10@16 with an intermediate longitudinal steel beam on SSP 4". The entire first floor framing is being demolished. We are raising it 18" to have a basement clear height of 8'-6". Exterior bearing walls are 4"CMU and 4" Brick.
