Dealing with subsystems

(OP)
Hey guys ,

I would like to know how to deal with subsystems? , I am interested in the vibration of a structure , let's say I am interested in the vibrations of a car engine mounted on rubber bushing, how do I constrain the engine in such a way that the behavior of the engine as a subsystem would be the same as if it's placed with a car. Another example is . let's say I have a condenser of a car which I have modeled as a standalone system , how do I assemble it in the structure later ?

Thank you

caemagic
