How to delete a perimeter dimension

How to delete a perimeter dimension

How to delete a perimeter dimension

(OP)
Hi Guys,

I've opened up a sketch with a perimeter dimension, but am unable to delete it.

I've tried Tools > expressions > then found the value in the list, highlighted it but the delete button (X) is shaded out.

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Thanks

Chris

RE: How to delete a perimeter dimension

Try and delete this perimeter dimension from the sketch environment.
  • Go in this sketch (edit with rollback or edit)
  • Click on any dimension command, like Inferred Dimension
  • Toolbar Dimensions will show up. It has tree icons
  • Click on the firs icon, Sketch Dimensions Dialog
  • In this dialogbox, from the list of sketch dimensions, select the Permiter dimension you want to delete
  • Now, click the Delete in this dialogbox and Perimeter dimension will be deleted.
