UEL subroutine for a Heat Transfer and inner generation

UEL subroutine for a Heat Transfer and inner generation

UEL subroutine for a Heat Transfer and inner generation

(OP)
Hi everyone,

I am trying to solve a problema of heat transfer in which there is an inner heat generation (Q). I know that Abaqus has a subroutine called HETVAL in which this procedure is very easy to implement, but for other porpuses later on I need to do using a UEL subroutine.
I have the equations for the RHS and AMATRX of the UEL, and it works perfectly well if Q= constant value. But in my case, Q depends of the variable of the problem (temperatura) that in the UEL subroutine are in the vector called U. In this point is when I don’t know how to go on, as the dimensions of the matrix don’t match well.
Hope someone can help me with this.

Thank you very much in advance.

P.S: look the file attached with some notes about the problem I am trying to solve in case it helps to understand it better.
