Is it possible--after doing a Zoom to area
to save the Zoom as an E/File or sldprt. file??

RE: Zoom to area

Take a screen shot, or save as a jpg, pdf or tif.

Got 2012x64---Guess i don't have
Snapshot available

RE: Zoom to area

Under View, click Screen Capture, Image Capture. That view as you see it is placed it on your clipboard. You can then paste it in any other application like Word, Excel, Outlook.
You can also SaveAs a jpeg or other graphic file.

RE: Zoom to area

Ctrl-Alt-PrtScrn, then paste into MS Paint.

If using eDrawings, when you add a comment, eDrawings saves the camera view and display state (including hidden parts and cross sections) with the comment.

I can't believe it--but screen capture is
also unavailable--it is up there in the Menu
but will not function (tab is greyed out)??
can anybody verify that ver 2012 does not
support screen capture or snapshot??

RE: Zoom to area

We are still using 2012 and its available in both a part and a drawing. So its works fine in 2012, seems like your having an issue with maybe an unsupported Video Card or your using a bad driver. Have you tried opening a new file and make a dumb part and see if the option is available or not? Could be file specific.

Also you can do Print Screen on your keyboard and use MSPaint to edit your image, if you don't have anything else. Personally I use Snag it and the Camtasia bundle for all my image and video needs. So much easier to capture work with.
