ASME B31G TDFP and ERF

(OP)
Hi all,

Have anyone ever heard about TDFP (theoretical defect failure pressure) and ERF ( estimated repair factor) ? Could you please explain it as well as its relation with MAOP and design pressure? I've searched it on ASME B31G (Manual for determining the remaining strength of corroded pipeline) but I found nothing.

And also, what is the relation between MOP, Std B31G Safe, and Std B31G Burst ? In my opinion, if MOP exceeds Std B31G Safe, the pipe will not leak. If MOP exceeds Std B31G Burst, the pipeline will leak. Is that true??

Any responds will be greatly appreciated.
