Cladding of Tubesheets

(OP)
I have a U2-form which mentions "Tubesheets are Deltaclad."
I am not sure what is Deltaclad. Can someone please explain?

RE: Cladding of Tubesheets

Deltaclad is a trade name of Hawking Electrotechnology Ltd for one of their electrophoretic deposition processes.

There is likely a qualified material which provides the necessary thickness and material properties for the application. That tubesheet is then plated with another material. This alternate material is usually selected for chemical resistance to the working material in the heat exchanger.

This assumes that there is not an alternate process being referred to by the same name. I recommend that you contact the vendor who provided the partial data report.
