thread799-336662: Flexible pipe in abaqus
Hi to everyone,

i am trying to model a flexible 3D-pipe in abaqus.Having read other papers,I understand that i should use beam elements(B31H) to do so.
However i would also like to model some effects on the section of the pipe, which means that the pipe has to have a 2D section. So i have come to the conclusion to use solid-deformable elements. I would like your thoughts on that.

Thank you all!!
Sophia
