NX8 View Break

NX8 View Break

NX8 View Break

(OP)
When creating a VERY simple break in one of my drafting views I get an error saying: The view break will result in hidden annotations. It then removes some of my dimensions from the view. None of the dimensions are even close to the break. Is there any way to turn this option off or at least unhide my annotations?

RE: NX8 View Break

That's NOT an 'error' message but rather simply a notice of the fact that some types of annotation were not copied to the new view, which in most cases are centerlines. And it's likely that the dimensions which are lost were referencing those same centerlines. And there's nothing that you can really do to prevent this from happening since at the moment, it a limitation of the Break View function. And yes, we are fully aware of it and there is work being done to address this in a future release. That being said, please feel free to contact GTAC with this as it will help us get more examples so that we can get a usable solution, but don't be upset when your IR is converted to an ER since this is the current status of this issue. It was a known limitation (which was caveated, at least internally) when the project was originally spec'ed but we didn't want to delay it based only on this issue.
