Abaqus Max Stress Annotation: Move in Viewport

Abaqus Max Stress Annotation: Move in Viewport

Abaqus Max Stress Annotation: Move in Viewport

(OP)
Hello everybody,

I need to do lots of pictures in Abaqus.
So i got two issues:
- I want to show the position of max Stress. Is there a possibility to move the standard annotation for max Stress around in viewport manually, so that it does not interfere with the mesh and is always readable?

- Is there a possibility to save views for more than one session? they are not saved in the gpr file right?

RE: Abaqus Max Stress Annotation: Move in Viewport

In Viewport, Viewport Annotation Options you can change positioning, colours, font size of the legend, titles etc.

What you do in a session is written to the abaqus.rpy file. Edit this file and remove what you don't want (just keeping the commands to change the viewport) save the file as a .py files, say "myviewport.py". Then in another another session select Files, Run Script and you'll see myviewport.py will be offered.
