When component is on reference only it does not show up in the Teamcenter Viewer

When component is on reference only it does not show up in the Teamcenter Viewer

(OP)
Hello,
I need to make items not show up on my build of materials in teamcenter but when I put a component on to reference only it not only takes it off of the bon but makes the viewer not show it.

Is there a solution to this issue?

RE: When component is on reference only it does not show up in the Teamcenter Viewer

Let me understand your question first. You want component not to appear on Teamcenter Visualization right? If so, "REFERENCE ONLY" on component in NX Modeling is appropriate.

We are not yet on Teamcenter (in a few months) but this thread may help you.
Let me know what happens when you add the attribute to the part, as explained in the thread, but this will affect me when we go to Teamcenter.

I would like a component to be visualized (show up in the viewer) but not to be placed on the bom.
