Data reports for HRSG

Data reports for HRSG

Data reports for HRSG

(OP)
We are an Engineering contractor that is suppling a HRSG.
-We are building the steam drums
-Contractor A is supplying the panels (p-4) data reports
-Conractor B is supplying the piping (p-4a)
-Contractor C is the assembler

What data report(s) is required from me

RE: Data reports for HRSG

Engineering contractors use the P-3A. When in doubt of where there is question over division of responsibility/ownership of design, contact your AI, that's what they're getting paid for.

RE: Data reports for HRSG

I would suggest that you have a meeting with the contractors and Authorized Inspection Agency long before the completion of this job and make sure everyone is on the same page. Mr168 is correct, the P-3A is the data report you would use as the Engineering Contractor.

RE: Data reports for HRSG

Assuming the Eng contractor has authorization to fabricate the drum. Which is with a separate data report for the part. Separate from the p-3A Eng. Contractor. The assembler is the one filing all the required documentation.
