Cost Estimation standards
Cost Estimation standards
(OP)
Hello,
I have a cost estimation challenge.I need to make detailed cost estimation which will be based on standards or rules, or some trustful data. I need to make an estimation for each type of work with man/hours, machine/hours and materials needed. I have found some man/hour manuals but they are a bit old. Could not find anything about machines and materials.
Please help me if you have some sort of this information, or make advice about alternative methods of cost estimation.
Many thanks in advance!

You and the customer can then argue about the actual scaling, but that's an easier do than to be arguing about whether someone's "engineering judgement" is a sound basis of estimate.
