holefeature and direct sketch

holefeature and direct sketch

In nx 8 is there a way to have the direct sketch on postioning.
My aim is to use the sketch constraint with an active preview of the hole to create or to edit. From hole feature the holepreview works on edit the before created dimension(...) but cannot add new dimensions or constraints to sketch controlling the position. Is there something to activate or to custom?

sorry new in NX
regards
Erwin

RE: holefeature and direct sketch

Sorry, but those functions that include the ability to create a sketch as part of the workflow, they only support the so-called 'Sketch Task' mode.

RE: holefeature and direct sketch

Exactly what is it about the 'Direct Sketch' mode that you think would be beneficial to you when creating a Hole feature? Please be specific as there are options which can change the why the 'Sketch Task' mode so perhaps it's just a matter of setting it up 'correctly'.
