MS Office 2013 and SW2011 Playing Nice?

MS Office 2013 and SW2011 Playing Nice?

(OP)
Will MS Office 2013 play nice with SW2011? I just found out our IT department is upgrading next week, and I'm just trying to cover my bases. I didn't see anything in the Knowledge Base, while the System Requirements on SW show "no support", that doesn't mean it won't still work... right?

RE: MS Office 2013 and SW2011 Playing Nice?

I had MS Office 2007-ish, some other corpoate mandated crap, and SW2010 on a decent Dell workstation.
The performance was poor, and declined to glacial after installation of the latest corporate groupware, which seemed able to bring any computer to its knees while not doing anything particularly useful.
I showed my boss how abysmal. He talked IT into giving me an obsolete-ish computer to run everything except SW.
The Dell ran much much better with all the other crap stripped out.

I guess it doesn't matter at this point. I came in this morning, noticed Office 2013 had automatically updated while I was fast asleep. I can't open the new Outlook to get to my emails, but SW11 is up and running, but I haven't done anything yet to test the waters.
