Best way to hide all of edge line?

Best way to hide all of edge line?

Best way to hide all of edge line?

(OP)
Hi. I'm doing Drafting with NX 8.0 and I have a problem...

I heard that there is a feature in the NX 8.0 that It can Hide all of edge line.

but I can't find that feature.

I tried 'Select all edge and blend' and I got a result I want... but It waste my time.

I want to know How to know the Best and Fastest way to hide that all of edge line in the 'Drafting mode'

RE: Best way to hide all of edge line?

Are you looking for something that looks like the image on the Right instead of the one on the Left?

That is What I want Exactly!

RE: Best way to hide all of edge line?

OK, it takes two actions.

After creating the shaded view, go to...

Edit -> View -> View Dependent Edit...

...select the view, from the first set of icons labeled 'Add Edits', select the first icon, 'Erase Objects', set the 'Type Filter' to 'Edges', hit 'Select All' and then OK. This will remove all of the edges except any 'Silhouettes' in the view. To remove them, reselect the view, press MB3, select 'Style' and on the 'General' tab, toggle OFF the 'Silhouette' option and then hit OK.
