API 579 - MAT Bolting

(OP)
Determining the MAT of a piping system is pretty straight forward for pipe, flanges, etc. My questions are about the bolting components.

First question: Section 3.4.2.1.c Step 1.4 sets the initial MAT at -55 deg F for the nuts. if the nuts are heat treated somewhere in the manufacturing process, can the reduction in Step 1.5 C be taken?

Second question: The bolts themselves, do they fall under curve B as "piping components" or curve "A" as the curve for stuff that doesn't fit into any of the other curves? Also, if the bolts are heat treated can the reduction in step 1.5 C be taken?
