Concact surface length piston and cylinder in Ansys

Concact surface length piston and cylinder in Ansys

(OP)
Hi everyone,

I am quite new to the world of ANSYS APDL and FEA so don't have much experience. I am trying to conduct a contact analysis of a polumer coated piston pushed against a cylinder wall. I have created a simple 2-D model and obtained a solution which is giving me values for contact stress that seem reasonable but, I want to know the length of the piston circumference actually in contact with the cylinder when subjected to this load. I was wondering how I do this on Mechanical APDL. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Anyone any idea, or know if this can even be done?
