How to use lofted boss to raise surface to circle

How to use lofted boss to raise surface to circle

(OP)
I've got a rectangular octagon and on a plane above it is a circle. The circle is straight on the top and bottom to match the edges of the rectangle. So it is basically a rectangle with rounded sides. I want to raise the octagon up to the circle so that the rectangular smoothly rounds up to the circle. Very much like the top of a water bottle, but I want the circle to remain flat so that the curvature just curves up to the flat surface of the circle type shape. my problem is that the straight edges keep getting handled weird. There should only be curvature on the side up the circle going up to the very top edge of the circle.

If you look at my attachment you'll see my shape. The rectangle is behind the circle type shape and the cirlce shape is on its own plane. i want the side of the rectangle to smoothly and evenly curve up to the sides of the circle. The low points of the curvature being in the corners of the rectangle.

All right, but I doubt many people will actually want to download a zip file from a complete stranger.

I want to raise the rectangle up to the circle shape on the plane in front so that the sides gradually / softly curve up to the top edge of the circle shape.

I want the left side of the rectangle to curve upward from left to right until it hits the circle. I want the right side to curve upward left until it hits the circle. i want the top and bottom to just be flush.

Basically I am trying to give my rectangle face a curve that fits to the outer edges of the circle.
