Wear material

(OP)
Can someone recommend a suitable material to use as a wear strip.  It needs to be heavy duty as it will be in contact with heavy mild steel press tooling.  I was thinking of phosphor bronze.

Thanks,

Paul

RE: Wear material

We sell Talonite which is a cobalt / chrome Haynes alloy.
You might consider Nitronic 60 which is a non-galling stainless steel.  Ceramic, tungsten carbide? Some of the grades are very impact resistant with good, high lubricity.
