two questions: parametric sweep and constrain in 2 direction

two questions: parametric sweep and constrain in 2 direction

(OP)
Hi to everybody...
sorry to bore you in this period with a lot of questions....
I've two distinct problems:

  1. i need to perform an analisi on solid mesh made with sweep extrusion.. but i want to investgate the influence of the tickness of the sweeped elements on the structure... i know that i can build some spatial field, but i can't able to create a field that have 3 or 4 values in one direction. In few words i've to analize 3 or 4 different tickness...
  1. i would to simulate a slender plate ( ie a plate of 1000 in lenght and 10 in breadt) with main dimension along X.
One end is pinned(ie fixed all translations), the other end is fixed along y and z direction but free to move along x . Under a pressure on the surface the enx with 1 dof should move along x.. but if i set traslations as < ,0,0> it doesn't work: the end is like fixed...
anyone could help me? thank you very much!
