Please Help Choose Adhesive For Bonding Cover Onto Container Holding Essential Oils

(OP)
I'm working on a product with a client that involves a small container that will hold about 1-2cc of various essential oils. Most likely spearmint, tea tree oil, and/or peppermint. Ideally the oil(s) will be completely saturated onto an absorbent pad, so there shouldn't be any free-flowing oil in the container, but there's always a good chance. I come from a mechanical background, so working with these corrosive materials is new ground for me.

The containers we are using at the moment are aluminum with a PVC coating inside. I would prefer to use HDPE, but we are having some trouble sourcing HDPE containers in the size we need.

The container will have a plastic film cover, most likely HDPE that needs to be bonded to the container. During use by the consumer, the cover needs to be able to peel off (so we can't weld it on).

My question is, what type of adhesive would be good for this application? It needs to be able to stand up to any oil that comes in contact with it, but still be able to peel off relatively easily.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The packaging adhesives supplied by Loctite and 3M should be suitable.
