Help with complex loft

Help with complex loft

Help with complex loft

(OP)
I've been trying to create a loft between two solids, and having no luck at all. I attached a simplified sample with two solids and two guide lines.

What I've tried so far:
1. Straight ahead loft using the edges of the "Boss-Extrude2" to the face of "B-E3"
2. Created a surface from the three faces of "B-E2", then a loft as above
3. The same as above, but with a Surface Loft

Any help is greatly appreciated

RE: Help with complex loft

(OP)
A couple things I should add:
Those are just a few of the things I've attempted, with a bunch of variations thrown in :)
Also, I've been able to loft between the two bodies, but not with the guide curves.
Thanks again

RE: Help with complex loft

I'd consider swapping the loft for either a boundary surface or surface fill.

Both would require some knitting, but they will give you a lot of control.
Pic of the Boundary surface might give an idea of how you could use it, pic done from surface fill looks smoother.

Either of them look remotely like what you want?

RE: Help with complex loft

I changed Sketch3 to a "fit spline" for just the curve surface, then added a 3rd guide curve along the top for more control, then did a surface loft between the surfaces utilizing the guide curves and it seemed to work fine as well. However I tend to agree with "MartinShane" on using a Boundary surface instead.
