Handling system for slaughterhouse waste - practical examples
Handling system for slaughterhouse waste - practical examples
(OP)
Hello all,
we are looking for ways to handle diverse slaughterhouse wastes. The system should be able to store the wastes as they are produced, macerate them, possibly sterilize them, and dose them into subsequent handling equipment.
We are experienced with pumpable substrates and how to handle them, and with less hazardous solid stuff. But we need ideas how to move, store and handle the stuff until we have treated it far enough to pump it. We also have ideas to macerate/chop up the stuff, but are open to other solutions specialized to slaughterhouse wastes.
So, I'd appreciate if you can provide links to producers of relevant technology, articles describing similiar plants or best practices.

Anyway, interesting, thanks. Further ideas are welcome.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
