Mass Concrete Special Provision

Mass Concrete Special Provision

(OP)
Can anyone direct me to a good special provision for structural mass concrete?  Texas appears to have a good one but I was curious if many other states have developed one.  Thanks!

RE: Mass Concrete Special Provision

Texas has one of the most reasonable mass concrete specs in the industry.  Years ago they worked with CTL, in Chicago, and actually tried to develop a spec that addressed mass concrete, instead of just developing a spec so conservative that it make implementation very costly, time consuming, and a point of contention between the owner and contractor.  For a very helpful background article, look at ctlgroup.com.
