Capability of a BLM NC863 (bending machine)

Capability of a BLM NC863 (bending machine)

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I'm new in this forum but I am been using this site for a while. It's been very helpful in numerous of occasions
Sorry for my English, i'm not an English speaker.

I'm working recently for a metalwork company which perform bending tube, welding and painting. Basicaly we do seat frame to automobile industry.
I have a new project still in the conception phase and I don't know some basic aspect of the machine I have in the company (apparently the manual is lost).
I want to know if any of you have some information about the BLM NC863 bending machine.
It is possible to bend square tube with 3mm thickness? (Re of the steel to use is 355MPa and dimension is 30X30)

I do know NC863 can bend tubes up 63mm in diameter with 2,5mm in thickness for St37 steel. I wonder if it can bend a 30x30x3 Re=355MPa square tube.
Can you give me any help?

Thanks in advance

RE: Capability of a BLM NC863 (bending machine)

Think about your question:

Can the square 30x30 mm tube fit through the bending machine jaws, clamps and feed mechanism? Can that size TS fit around the ram and dies?
(Yes, the BM can fit a 60x60 tube, so it can fit a 30x30 outside dim tube.)

Can the BM "bend" a 30x30x3 mm square tube? Does it have a strong enough bed and ram to bend that much resistance?
(Yes, the resistance is much, much higher across a square TS with 2x 60mm walls 2.6 mm thick than 2x 30 mm walls 3 mm thick.)
