direction of concentrated masses

(OP)
hi everybody, I would like to ask you a question.
I am working on a 2D model, and I defined several point masses to simulate a concentrated mass. The whole model is subjected to both horizontal and vertical time histories of acceleration, so the point masses would be stimulated in both direction. But i need the point masses to be stimulated only in horizontal direction, in orderto neglect the vertical acceleration effects on the point. I'm searching in the manuals and in the CAE, but I din't find anithing useful yet. I'm a little bit surprises because in other FEM solver like SAP this option is clearly editable when you define the point mass.
Hope somebody can help!
Alessio
