(OP)
I'm looking for exactly what the subject says. I have a 3d profile that needs to follow two 3D splines, is there a way to create a spline that is a best fit between them? I have drawn the two splines and basically want to merge them into one that gives me a happy medium between them.

RE: fit spline between 2 3d splines

Ugly hack-job method...

Make a sweep using one curve as the path and the other as a guide curve. Make a profile sketch that creates a path along the midpoint between the two splines. Make a swept surface and use the edge for your spline.
